This qualification is designed for learners who want to improve their knowledge and skills in data analysis. I twill support learners in a number of sectors and job roles where an understanding of data analysis is required. Learners may also progress to further study.

Qualification objectives
The objectives of this qualification are to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to perform some basic data analysis to help make informed, data driven decisions.

While completing this qualification, learners may develop the knowledge, understanding and essential skills employers look for in employees. These range from familiar ‘key skills’, such as team working, independent learning and problem solving, to more tricky-to-measure skills, such as:
appropriate interpersonal skills
communicating with professional colleagues/peers and/or hierarchical seniors
supporting other aspiring employees
understanding work practices and how different roles and departments function within an organisation.

To be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Data Analysis(603/3916/0),learners are required to successfully complete 5mandatory units.

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve achieved an Entry Level3qualification in Maths and Entry Level 3 qualification in ICT.
